The country has a large number of individuals who are largely unfit to get themselves sustainable livelihoods. Lok Bharti seeks to give them an opportunity to do so.

India's phenomenal growth has averaged at almost 9% in the last five years. India's growth story, however, is not sustainable unless the demand for skilled labour is matched with a trained supply. About 12 million persons are expected to join the workforce every year. This talent pool needs to be adequately skilled for sustainable growth of Indian economy.
