Lok Bharti participated in a conference on Corporate Social Responsibility 2015 with the theme, “Inspiring India” – Aligning CSR with National Agenda, organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with Thinkthrough Consulting (TTC) on Wednesday, 26 August 2015 at CII NR HQ Chandigarh.

The 5th Edition of CSR Conference 2015 aimed at Inspiring India towards aligning the National Agendas with Corporate Social Responsibility of businesses, as a priority for economic growth with wider perspective of social developments.

The event is designed for CEOs and CSR industry representatives, Senior Government officials & Policy Makers, Bankers and Financial Institutions, MFIs, NGOs, Development Consultants, Marketing Companies, Suppliers, Researchers & Academia, Media, and others. Some of the dignitaries present include H. E. Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor, Haryana, Punjab & Administrator, UT Chandigarh, D S Cheema, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Government of Punjab, Dr. Sudhir Kapur and Chairman, CII Northern Region Committee on CSR & Gender Equality.

Aloke Khanna, CEO, LOk Bharti was one of panellists for session on ‘Skill Development: Making North the Skill Capital of the India’.

Addressing to the audience, Aloke said “We need to identify the strengths of individuals and skill them in accordance with the industry requirements. To bridge the skill gap, it is important that we follow “Learning By Doing” methodology with required trade tools and environment. We at Lok Bharti believe that the youth, if trained properly can contribute to the economic growth of the country.”
