Skill Langar

“Skill Langar “ , a new initiative of Lok Bharti in collaboration with ( ITEC) Integrated Technology & Education Center, an education institute of Gurdwara Baba Jorawar Singh Ji  Baba Fateh Singh Ji  .

The objective of this association is to skill the marginalized youth , especially related to  the devotee of the Gurudwara in the domain of Healthcare to start with.

This initiative is an employment linked initiative so as to empower the youth with a sustainable livelihood through short – term skill development in  program of General Duty Assistant.

ITEC has provided the required state of the art infra and equipments and Lok Bharti will be conducting trainings and placement support for the trained candidates.

The trainings are held through video – based sessions and practical sessions.

The aim to select this program to start with was that this particular domain has a high employable capacity and generated an employment opportunity which is highly respectful in the society. The training of these programs are very high in cost through other private institutes, which is being offered through Gurudwara at a subsidized  fee that too with a certification of Healthcare Sector Skill Council

With the great support offered by Gurudwara and with the same vision of impacting the society through this skill training , we have named this initiative as “Skill Langar “ , where anyone , from anywhere can come and join to this path of sustainable livelihood just in the same way as anyone can enjoy the langar in a “Gurudwara “

We will be launching more short-term skill development programs in the coming months and replicating this social impact through other Gurudwaras.

We aim to train those who have the capability, willingness to learn and dream to stand on their feet to be able to change lives of others and themselves.
